Tetti Light Board is a lightweight cement-based membrane plate. The membrane plate consists of an MGO-based board supplemented with EPS beads laminated with Tetti membrane foil. Tetti Light Board has a density of 600 kg per m , making it a lightweight yet robust plate with a hard surface that can be manipulated like a plasterboard. The plate is cut by scoring the surface with a utility knife and then snapped. It is fastened to the substrate using regular drywall and then snapped. It is fastened to the substrate using regular drywall screws and possibly mounting adhesive. The plate is produced in 8 and 12mm thicknesses. 

Tetti Light Board is installed on the wall, joints, and pipe penetrations are sealed with sealing tapes and sleeves, making the bathroom fully membrane sealed and ready for further surface treatment, such as ceramic tiles. A significant advantage of Tetti Light Board is its suitability for painted surfaces in bathrooms and micro-cement, even in wet areas of the bathroom. This has been tested and approved by Sintef Certification in Norway in collaboration with the paint manufacturer Jotun.

Applications include floors and walls in bathrooms and utility rooms in homes, hotels, or public buildings.The membrane should always be overlaid with ceramic tiles or other types of flooring or wall coverings.Tetti Light Board has been tested and approved together with related Tetti products and sealing details.
